New Blog

In 2008 my wife, Lindsay, and I are two of the last people on earth not to blog.  One reason I have not blogged yet is that I told myself that I would not blog until I found something I felt worthy to blog about.  Recently, I decided that one of my real passions -- supporting local farmers and eating locally produced foods -- was worth blogging about and could be helpful to people in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County and south eastern Michigan.  So, Arborvore is born! 

Lindsay and I have long been gardeners, hunters, gatherers and supporters of local farmers.  People have increasingly been asking us "Hey, were can I buy a pig?" or "Where is the best apple cider?" We hope to develop this blog in the coming months to be a resource for people looking to save money, eat well and support the local economy.
